Quantities limited question
In the ad this week it says...
FREE $5 TARGET GIFTCARDŽ with purchase of any 2 Schick Hydro 5-blade or 3-blade razors or cartridges! Quantities limited; no rain checks. Terms and conditions apply to GiftCards.
To you.. what does 'Quantities limited' mean?
Does it mean, target may run out so hurry and buy now!
Or target can limit YOU to how many you buy??

Re: Quantities limited question
Well I think it means hurry before they sell out. I don't think they should be able to limit how many you can buy, because if they limit you to one, for instance, then you would not get the gift card that they advertised. If the amount you are permitted to buy is limited, then it needs to say in the ad the quantity that you are permitted to buy.

Re: Quantities limited question
Quantities Limited is the legal cop-out for ensuring that they don't have to provide rainchecks if they run out of the product before the sale period ends. So to me, it most definitely means that they don't guarantee having enough to get them through the sale so rush in and get 'em.
While most all stores reserve the right to limit quantities sold to each consumer, it's seldom spelled out as such in an ad, and rarely do they enforce it. That's my take, anyway.
