It seemed like she was rejecting the FREE OLAY coupon because I was getting a $5 gift card and treated me like I was "scamming" the system. I felt like maybe they were refusing it because of some "internal" reason (sales/numbers/gift card) reason and not because I had a right to use both coupons ($2 razor + FREE Olay) even though they would have been getting "reimbursed/paid" from the manufacturer. I'm sure P&G would have worded the coupons differently or not put both out there if this was really the case. I'm still baffled by the whole thing. I was only buying 2 razors + 2 body wash so the additional body wash gift card was not a factor in my scenario.

She said customers had been yelling about it and she was the go to person, so I didn't push it. I wish I would have tried a different Target instead of just setteling for the razors and still think I got jibed on the Body Wash.

But it wasn't a total loss since I took my $5 gift card + the $5 off Target Coupon for Children's Apparel ($30 purchase) and got a bunch of cute shorts/summer play clothes for $20. Yeah! :)
I am glad to hear you still had a good shopping trip, but they were wrong on the coupon use.

The free olay does not say cannot be combined. Show them both coupons & explain, I have to BUY this razor to get the free olay, nowhere does it say I must pay full price to buy this razor, thus the discount. neither coupon excludes using another coupon with it. The $2 is for the razor. the free is for the Olay & Target is reimbursed with both. I wouldnt be shy about taking a quick trip to customer service after checking out if the cashier does not budge.

Not sure what went wrong. Perhaps just a bad day there.
Here is the scenario i did.....
    3 Olay Body Washes
    6 Venus Razors
    $58.50
-(3) FREE body wash wyb 2 venus razors
    -(3) $2/2 Venus MFQ
Total $36 and got back $20 in Gift Cards, like paying $16 for all.

Isn't the coupon for free bodywash wyb 1 razor (not 2)?

When this deal started I had the same experience as the OP and getting CS involved did not help whatsoever. I think they just do whatever they want to do regardless of how the coupon reads. It stinks!

I was all prepared to do battle over this deal yesterday, as I rarely ever go to Target and it is ALWAYS a battle to use coupons on ours. Yesterday I had a younger cashier, it was shortly before closing time and it went smooth as vanilla icecream. I did 6 ea of the Venus/Olay and 6 Fusion too, plus 10 free Colgate toothpastes. I was in and out of her line so quick, I was actually stunned, LOL and had to pull myself off "fight" mode because it wasn't needed. Went out to the car, counted the rest of my coupons and figured that it went so well, I might as well go back in and use the remainder of my coupons - got 2 more Fusions and 4 ea Venus + Olays. NICE!

Not all of the Olays qualify for the deal - I checked every single one in the price checker to make sure I got the right ones.

GGbwg you must be having different coupons than I did - my Venus were $2/1 and the Olay B1G1...
    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

just a little update.. i drove to another target further up, about 1 1/2 hr away frm me and tried this deal. It went thru this time, with a younger cashier. Not forgetting my 5 free airwick freshmatic. She was patient enough to do for me 5 transactions and 5 cash backs. That said, it was a well worth it trip. I used all my gift cards on a 1 tb harddisk for my husband. yay! =)
