Can anyone verify that the Nivea for women bodywash is included in 2.99 sale?

I'm curious. I tried to get a raincheck on the Nivea, but my Target said no way, but I saw another post here where someone was going in to use their raincheck on the Nivea. Is this a YMMV?? I really wanted some more free bodywash!! :hectic1:

I was able to get a rain check and went back the next week and got all 9 free. So I guess it is ymmv, don't understand y they wouldn't give ya one.

I know that it is best to give MCs first so I have a question for everyone who has done this deal. What happens if the MC is scanned first taking off $2 and then the Target coupon is scanned second? Does the register automtically adjust and take off $0.99 or does it beep?

I'm asking because my Target has a bunch of coupon cops and I know if it beeps they will look at the Target coupon and decide that since the coupon has a picture of lotion and not body wash then the Target coupon is not for the body wash. And, I don't want to even bother with this if the coupon will beep because I know I will walk away empty handed.

I know this post is old but I didn't see where it had been answered, so here's my info/guess:

When I looked at my receipt, it showed the body wash as $1.99 with a down arrow indicating it has been reduced. I guess Target Qs actually reduce the purchase price of the item. I don't have access to my receipts ATM but I'm pretty sure the MQ took off $1.99 automatically (the register didn't beep).

How this would apply to rainchecks is anyone's guess, but I remember being confused by it the first time I used a Target Q because I thought the cashier had missed one.
