Target Printables: Printer Beware!

I appreciate Target's printables just as much as the next person even though I don't like the recent change.

I've printed two coupons from their website within the past 12 hours or so thinking they are Target web coupons to be used in conjunction with manufacturer's coupons. While both coupons are useful, they are not Target web coupons, but manufacturer's and will have to be used alone.

There is no way to tell which is which before printing. You may want to save yourself some ink and excitement by being sure you really want the coupon. Worse yet, we sure don't want to embarass ourselves by trying to use two coupons on the same item!

Mods: Is there any way we can set up something to split the Target web and manufacturer's coupons?

BTW, the two coupons I printed are the GE $1.50/1 and the other is the $1/3 greeting cards. (I've also read that the Biz coupon on Target's website is also a manufacturer's coupon.)

I've also read that the greeting card one is also a MQ.

So, the Target coupons would have Target printed next to the date instead of Mfg?

I printed an Uncle Ben's rice coupon last night, it said mfg & had the Target logo under the date.

the baking soda or powder i can not remember for sure, is a MF Q as well.

They have "Target Coupon" on the top of the black bar above the date and the long Target barcode (all one number, etc) -- the MQs say Manufacturer Q even though they have the Target logo on some of them - still act like a MQ and can't double up on them :(

I printed one for Argo corn starch, it is a Mfr. I already have mfr coupons, I needed a Target one to go with.

Yes, that's the one i was trying to think of. I thought it was a Target 1 too :sad:

The news just keeps getting worse and worse about Target. I'd just started getting into going there since they built a Super Target not too far. But now I wonder whether it'll be worth it for me. I loved how I used to be able to get multiple copies of the Target coupon since I have 12 mouths to feed. :sad:
