Default getting the price difference if item goes on sale?

Feel free to move this if I'm in the wrong area ..

I was just wondering if I went ahead & bought a television that's going to be on sale on Black Friday, would Target give me back the price difference if I went in there Black Friday with receipt?

    Help :)

I'm pretty sure they will, you just have to get the price adjustment done during the BF sale hours.

Be careful doing so. I have heard through the grapevine on a large board dedicated to all things BF that Target is going to be strict about thier policies for BF. No price matching or price adjusting due to ad leaks and other stores. I know thier policy is within 7 days you can price adjust. Good luck if you decide to do it and know that you can always return it but you will be making someone else's day by doing that.

If your CS cashier isn't a total butt, you could always return it if they won't adjust it, and then turn right around and re-buy it.

The only reason I'm asking is because there's a few things I want to wait in line for, but I wasn't sure if they would put a limit on how many black friday items we could get or not? Plus, I don't know how well a TV would fit in my car along with the other Black Friday items lol.

Yeah I guess you're right about the whole price matching thing, I could always just return it if they wanted to show their butt about things. I guess I should probably call them just to double check about how they feel about it around here? :( What should I say to them without giving my ulterior motive away?

I did this last year and had no issues what so ever. Good luck we play on doing this with a toy in the ad!

They have done it in past years so long as you came in for adjustment during the BF ad hours. HOWEVER, with their new strict policy change on price matching, they might deny an adjustment such as this as well.

You could try calling, but we all know how each CSR can give a diff story, even worse when its a new policy. I would say go ahead and buy it and try to get adj, and like pp said, just return/rebuy if they give you a hard time.

I haven't done Target in years for BF - but I recall their customer service counter not even being OPEN during the morning blockbusters!

yea good luck with that!!! Target CS cashiers are nasty a lot of days but early morning BF will be even worse. Sorry to any TARGET CS cashiers reading this that are not butts!

Just call and ask.. don't tell them the item just in general ask if you bought something prior to BF and it then went on sale as a doorbuster or sale item for BF would they give you the difference.
