$10 GC when you spend $100 question

I got this $10 gift card when you spend $100 coupon on my Target holiday pricing book that they mailed to me. I was wondering if it was $100 before coupons or $100 after coupons? I am planning to use some of the printable holiday coupons with my purchase. Does anyone know?

I'm trying to lay low and not have any run-ins with a manager at my Target for a while, so I'm trying to make sure I have all of my ducks in a row before I get to the register.

I had two of these (my neighbors won't coupon so they share with me LOL). I gave them the card at the beginning (before any coupons were given) and it did the GC immediately. Just like the glade deals etc. during the transaction. The second time I forgot and it would not do it after the coupons. Both times my totals were below after coupons. I would also say it could be up to cashier sine they seem to make up their own rules as they go. HTH

Thank you, that is a great idea to give it first because then the cash register won't know any different.

I'm loving this... I got this and put it in my purse. Now I;m super excited that I'll have a chane to use it...

I have not done this deal yet, but you might want to check the balance on the gift card you got. The registers are getting "smarter" and may know that the total went below $100 and void the value off the gift card and you would never know until you try to use it and it doesn't work. Just trying to save some possible frustrations.

Is this a coupon printed in the booklet or a card stuck to it - I haven't received mine yet but the store has some and I was wondering if they would be on the in-store copies too

It was stuck to the back of the book.

Already used it and it came up as $10 both times :-) Since they scan it and add the amount in the middle of the trans. I can not see how it would readjust since they give it to you immediately. Hopefully handing it first will eliminate the problem. HTH

I really wish I had that coupon yesterday. My total before coupons was $130.00 and after coupons, $47.97 (inclu tax!). A $10 GC Would have made my haul a little bit sweeter!
