3% off with RedCard San Antonio

Anyone else getting the 3% off with the Redcard?

I noticed that Target has started advertising in the San Antonio area that if you use your redcard on any purchase you get 3% off anything.

They are also stating that you can combine it with coupons and any other offers. Pretty much the only restriction is not with Gevernment Paid presciptions.

I think I am going to get the checkcard.

This is a test program being run in only a few markets throughout the country. I wish I had paid more attention to the memo that I read about it last week now. Corporate is testing this program to replace the 10% off coupon after spending $1000 on you Redcard. It's actually supposed to promote the use of the RedCards because use had been falling for a while now.

I tried it out yesterday for the first time and I like it. The KC area is doing 5% off and I wondered how it would come off, once I scanned my card my total went down automaticly and I saved my $3.xx. I know I hadnt used my card much due to before we moved here being so far from a Target to get to it often enough.
