Coupon Limits at Target? How many can you do per transaction?

Forgive me if this has been posted. Everytime I search using HCW search for a thread it tells me I've "been naughty". Same message I get if I'm looking up something online and naked images or abstract verbiage comes up.


So here is my question.

How many coupons can you use in your transaction?

Ours limits it to 3 of each kind per transaction (These are manu, not Target, not breaking the Target 1 per transaction rules here.)

Does anybody else have limits of each kind of coupon?

My silly cashiers think it is because it will lock up their computer. And this rule is handed down from corporate.

Sounds like you need to scan your computer...yikes!

Yeah...that got tried on me yesterday. They told me that it wouldn't take more than one like one. I convinced them to try it...it worked. I shouldn't have, though, because it turned into a 45-minute argument on taking the blinkies, that I lost. Whatever. I'm down to only liking one out of my 3 local Targets now....this is ridiculous.

I have never run into limits. I used 10 of the same for the Glade deal this weekend. Sorry they are being Meaners.

They have never given me a limit on coupons. Not to say that some cashiers at my store wouldn't use that "excuse" but I try to go to the cashiers I know are coupon friendly, and just plain friendly.

I had an issue with my Target that they would allow me to only use one coupon for a particular item. I called corporate to clarify their policy, and I was told that the store management has the right to limit the customer to reasonable amounts. And they were fine with the store considering one to be a reasonable amount. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

One of my local Targets tried to enforce 1 coupon per transaction even though the coupon said 1 per purchase. I had the CS call the 1800 number and the Target store changed their tune real quick and accepted all my coupons in one transaction. They've been gladly accepting ALL my coupons ever since.

when the glade tin candles were 1.66 i had 8 coupons for 1.50/1 (that would make them .16 cents each) & i also had 8 free refill when you buy a tin candle - well i went to the cashier and they scanned all my coupons and stuff - they ended up having to call the manager over (she said that i couldnt use a FREE item coupon to get a item free (i said to my self - WTF?? - yes you can) - i was like if you wont accept the coupons then i DONT want the candles/refill packs.so thats why i only use like 5 at a time instead of using more than 5.

I have always been able to use unlimited. I think my Target is VERY coupon friendly.

I am not sure if we have limits or not..? I used 8 of the Fusion coupons at once and they lady scanned them all and gave me the 1 cent overage :)

Mine is unlimited. I usually dont use many if I am going during peak hours though. I used 25 of the Glade today in one transaction.
