Mine has become to 2 coupons per purchase per 2 identical items. im located in buffalo, ny. and its getting rediculous, these stores will have to start dropping THEIR PROFIT MARGINS in order to keep in business or take as many coupons otherwise! economy is bad and its like only the stores want to make profit or get reimbursed for more the value like a $2 tide on a 1.49 travel size, they could give the .50 overage applied off of your $6 chicken. I'd like to see a store do up to $10 overage (change left from coupon value) taken off from a $35 minimum purchase would be nice atleast. maybe i should open my own store

AS well there were Sooooo many times i wanted to call TIDE on TOPS and tell them:

"You know tops wont reimburse the full $2 tide value coupon on JUST ANY TIDE ITEM? It says for ONE (any one) and they dont want to reimburse 2.00 off of tides that they sell for .99 or 1.49? Yeah and you shouldnt reimburse them fully either. Count how many travel sizes they export (sold) and then individually deduct (adjust) their redeemed $2 tide coupons down to every individual tide travel size price because no one often buys the travel sizes, as we know!"

...... im sure tops is gipping tide but dont want to honestly get reimbursed by the customer through a coupon!? now whos coupon boobling around?

Yeah...that got tried on me yesterday. They told me that it wouldn't take more than one like one. I convinced them to try it...it worked. I shouldn't have, though, because it turned into a 45-minute argument on taking the blinkies, that I lost. Whatever. I'm down to only liking one out of my 3 local Targets now....this is ridiculous.
I had this same response last Sunday when I tried to use 4 of the same Q on 4 of the same items.

I called Target Corporate and was told that a manager can limit the number of coupons if there is an inventory issue, but that was not the case. She gave me a case number and told me to call back when at the store if I couldn't get it resolved. I went back and told customer service this and she took my unused coupons and refunded me the money.

I think it is poor training of cashiers and management. It is also that they are so afraid to take coupons that aren't correct. I went to another Target yesterday and the clerk put my Q's on the items to make sure they matched up. I didn't mind and didn't have a big order. She was just making sure she was doing it correctly. Everything went through as it should have.

I think there is a lot of coupon fraud going on which is making stores super careful about taking coupons. I have heard this at CVS, Target and Walgreens in the past week. So sad.

My Target has a rule of 10 like coupons per transaction. Found that out during their last Dove shampoo/conditioner sale. Luckily I only had 6 like coupons. I think it might depend on the location and how much coupon fraud any particular store has had to deal with.

My Target told me the other day there is a limit of four like coupons. I didn't have more than four on anything luckily that day. But she also would not allow me to use a Target coupon on a gift card deal (the Bounty/Charmin buy two get $5 gift card). I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but I can't find that anywhere in any of the policies or FAQs. Maybe I'm missing it.
