Default Jimmy Dean deal

I haven't done this yet and could use some help to make sure it is going to work.

My Target ad states, "We'll match the price in any local competitor's printed ads for identical products." In this weeks Walgreens ad, Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls (7 or 8 oz) or 2-pack Biscuit Sandwiches are on sale 2/$4 limit 4.

There are Target web q's for $1 off Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast and manufacturers q's for .75 any Jimmy Dean Breakfast Entrees, .75 any Jimmy Dean Sandwich item, .75 any two Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls. These are the q's that came out in the inserts in my area.

I plan on taking the Wags ad and price matching the Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls and sandwiches and paying .25 and .50 for them.

Has anyone price matched like this? Any problems? See any problems with my scenario? I am an on again, off again Target shopper. Been more on than off lately with the great deals available.

Just remember it is one transaction at a time for the target coupon. still works but you have to do seperate transactions. Look for a young cashier and I prefer to go when it is a bit slower.

t, thanks for reminding me of that. I can do the cookie deal along with the Jimmy Dean deal, one at a time, slowly. LOL I need to see what else I might be able to do with them and get all the different deals done together that way. I don't go often to Target but within the past two weeks they've opened the largest Target store in the U.S. not far from me and the employees are so extremely helpful and encouraging of coupon use that I want to go as much as possible before that changes. Not pessimistic but realistic. I've seen it happen over and over during the 20 odd years I've been couponing.

If your Publix accepts Target as a competitor, starting Thursday they will be on sale for $2 each. Use both coupons, makes it between $.25 and $.50 each!

Aymie, at least one Publix store here does accept Target q's as competitors q's and I think this might be the better route to take. Target has the Jimmy Dean products but not in sizes that would make them cheap. I would rather get lots of smaller sizes for much less than a few big sizes and have to pay more oop. Thanks for the tip.
