I have used blinkies at two different Targets with no problem at all.

At the only location near me that I've found Glade holiday stock at, they did accept the blinkies. I did verify this before she rang me up in case I needed to use my IP's instead. All went well.

My Target takes them. Mine takes everything I give them...I hope they don't get any funny ideas about changing that practice either.....I love Target! Every time I read stuff like this thread I have to go test them out...
Did the glade thing last night a couple of times.

If a blinkie isn't a manufacturer coupon,,,,what is it? It doesn't name a store on it does it? I used a bunch of them yesterday at Target. The cashier had someone come over to the register to ask if it was an actual coupon, and she was told YES. But they did have to K1 each of the coupons.

First of all, my Target is the most coupon unfriendly store in the entire chain. No, they don't take blinkies. I rarely go there because it's worth my time and blood pressure, when I can shop at other stores without a problem. Yes, I miss some deals, but don't we all?

As for "leaving and coming back later"...that's great if you have the time and don't mind spending twice the gas on one deal. I have one day each week that I can shop, and only about 4 hours to get it all done. I have to plan my trips well. Going back to a store doesn't work for me.

My Target is very coupon friendly and I have no problem using blinkies there. However, I am one of those that also can't "leave and come back later". I live an hour away from Target, that simply isn't feasible.

The two stores near me both did take them with no troubles, however at the one the girl said she didn't think I couldn't get the gc on the 'free' items but wanted to double check with a manager, who said it was fine.

But what do i know, obviously everyone thinks im nuts over calling and complaining about my treatment which is fine, but you would do the same if it happend to you.
[quote]

Yesterday, I thought you were nuts. Today I'm fuming mad myself. I went to 2 Targets today. Both questioned them but one said they were manufacturer coupons, even if they didn't say it. The next store said they were Top Foods coupons. I said no, they have them at 5 stores within 5 minutes of here. She said well, they are still store coupons and only the store you got them at can redeem them. She wouldn't even answer me and walked away when I told her they were all the same and showed her the SC Johnson redeemable part. Then she proceeds to huddle with other people who all stand glaring at me.
