Finally found BOTH tins/holder and refills in Holiday scents at one of the nearby Targets. Priced at 2.50. But when I scanned it...NO GC! :shrug7:
I'm hitting up another one tonight. Please tell me this is not a dead deal! :sniff:

I'm thinking I might try it tomorrow! The other Target ended up not having ANYTHING left, but had the signs out that they would ring up a GC.

Is there a chance this Target is privately owned and not participating?!:sad:

I had this happen 2 weeks ago. Fortunately there was a display close to the registers that I could show the manager (of course the cashier had to call) & they manually gave me a GC. I am thinking it IS a dead deal but if you still have signage they will still honor it. I haven't been back since to try it. Not worth the hassle IMO

My store has signs up stating that the deal goes until 12/26 so it's definitely not dead.

Incognito, I might be tempted to just take 5 items to the register and let the cashier know up front that you might be voiding the transaction. Once he or she scans the 5th item, you'll know whether or not the GC deal is happening. :)

well i went the other day and was a little sad at first because there was no refills but i found some. i went and scanned the refill but they said they were not part of the deal but i knew that all the holiday scents were on sale. so i scanned a apple cimm and it said it was part of the deal so i went straight to the guest services to tell them that the vanilla was not working. the lady told the manger and he came over and told the girl to change the price but the five that should have given the gift card without prompt did not so the manger had to do it manually, so the sale is still on but i don't know if the registers are still recognizing the deal

Yes, the deal is working and yes, the registers are recognizing it.

Vanilla has NEVER worked for this deal - even though it is marked as limited holiday scent. :shrug7:

hi. new to this forum. i discovered the glade deal a couple weeks ago and must have hit every target in a 15 mile radius. At this point, ALL the targets are out of the glade holiday collection and have been for a while. they say they aren't restocking although target is offering the $5.00 GC promo for another month. Anyone else run into this problem?
