TARGET ~ Glade Holiday Scents Moneymaker until 12/26/09

One of my Targets wouldn't take the blinkies for buy the holder get the refill free. I've heard others say their Targets won't take blinkies, but I never had a problem until today.

My store is well stocked on these items still. Too bad I don't have the right Q's to even do the deal once. Good luck on finding them in stock for you guys.

Between where I work and live there are about 7 Targets around. I have noticed that those who will take the Blinkie have no stock, and the stores that have stock won't take the blinkie. I got to do the deal once (I've tried at least 4 times), but can't find any stock in a couppn friendly store to do the deal again. Was hoping to get enough of these to give as Christmas gifts for my employees, but it doesn't look like its going to happen.

I got lucky enough that the stocker was "just" putting them on the shelf when I arrived. He had ten tins - enough for me and my friend to do the deal once with the refills. Fortunately, I already had the $1.50 coupons from another purchase, but not a one of the tins he had just opened had any coupons in them. So now I debate about trying to get another set of 5, since I have no more coupons.

Still, I am glad to have gotten the 5 - gift baskets for family!

I just noticed this deal yesterday. I've read through a lot of the posts, but not all, so sorry if this has been asked. I have been to the two Targets in my area and both have plenty of holiday scents in stock, but no refills. There is no empty spots and there are no tags on the shelf for them. Could they just not be carrying them? Anyone elses Target not carry them at all? My Wal Mart has tons of all the Glade holiday items. I have a few coupons, so I would like to try to do this deal. I went yesterday b/c I really wanted some of the gingerbread refills - but no dice. My store had about 7 of the glass holders, 15 packs of the bayberry refills, and were fully stocked on Plugins and jar candles. So I bought:

1 Bayberry glass holder
2 Bayberry refill
7 jar candles

Used 1 buy a holder get a free fefill, one $1 off a holder, one $1 off a refill, 3 BOGO jar peelies, and 2 $1.50/2 jar candles. Spent $10.00 oop plus tax and got $10 in GCs.

Still wish I had found the gingerbread refills though...

Could someone please help me with this glade deal? I want to make sure I get the best deal possible with the lowest oop. I have went through all 11 pages so far and I kinda got it, but still a little confused.

These are the coupons I have:

(5) $2/1 Canndle Holder
(7) B1G Refill Free
(11) $1.50/1 Candle holder or refill pack
(1) $1/1 refill

I read in one post in this thread that I should give the B1G refill free coupons first then the 1.50/1 refill next.

Buy 5 Candle Holders and 5 Refill Packs in one transaction. Use (5) B1G1 Refill q and (5) $2/1 Candle holder q (in that order). You will pay $2.50 + tax OOP, and get (2) $10 gift cards. You cannot use the gift cards to pay for the order, even if the cashier says you can (they have holiday help working the registers now that don't understand how the GCs work). Make sure you know how much you should be paying AQ when you go to check out. That last two transactions I did, one q didn't register. I paid too much and had to have them adjust it.

If your holder q does not specifically say "tin candle holder" then you can use it on the glass holders or the tin holders (not glass candles that are on the same shelf). However, the tin holders have $1.50/1 q's in them for your next purchase, and the glass holders only have $2/2 q's in them (provided someone hasn't taken them, or they did not come with them).

I went yesterday and the super target I went to had plenty of refills (gingerbread and bayberry) and penty of tins. I did the deal twice using the 4 $1.50 Q and the 4 bogo Refill Free plus one b2g1refill free and a $1 off one refill. I had some blinkies but I still would have needed to get another tin that I didn't have a coupon for. It seemed kinda high when he gave me the total ($9 something) and I had been watching him but it wasn't until I could actually read the receipt that I found that he missed on of the free refills. He price adjusted an item $2.50 off my next order (I had 2 orders in a row, this one did not have any glade). LOVE the newbies! HE was shockingly good for only being there 3 days.
