problems price matching...anyone else have this issue?

I took in the Walgreen's ad to price match the Starbucks 4 pack for $3.99. They told me they could only price match the ad, not coupons. I said "this is their ad." Yes, but we can't price match the coupons, only the ad. This went around a few times. I even spoke to a manager who said the same thing. I was trying to do this at the CS desk. Anyway, I left, leaving behind the 2 Doodle Pro's, a high chair, and a book I had in my cart. Seems silly all over a dollar. Did I miss something when they started price matching?

that's what walmart says too! I've tried to pm w/ walgreens ad there also- not much luck either.

I tried pm the walgreens 7-day coupon and they told me no too. They said, sorry, thats the rules, it has to be an actual sale price. I said that doesn't make any sense since the coupon is the sale price!

Its all YMMV - I brought the Walgreen ad in for the Starbucks and they matched it no problem.
