Gift card??

I went threw the FAQ thread for Target and did not see this posted. I am new to Target shopping and wanted clerification on the gift card promotions they run. If I buy 5 motts juices this week and get the $5 Gift card can I use that gift card to buy another 5 motts apple juice and pay the difference and get a new $5 card? I did not know if the computer would not prompt the cashire to scan a new card if you used a gift card from the same promotion.

At Target you can roll the gift cards. Example:

1st Transaction:
5 Mott Juice - 8.75
OOP - 8.75 get back 5 GC

2nd Transaction:
5 Mott Juice - 8.75
-5 GC
OOP - 3.75 get back 5 GC

and so forth. The computer prompts for the gift card right after the 5th bottle of juice is scanned and before you pay. It won't let the cashier scan anything else until they scan the GC to put the $5 on it. Hope this helped.

Thanks and repped you! I wanted to make sure it was not like walgreens if you reuse the same RR on the same product it will not generate a new RR. Sounds great I need apple juice!!
