Where does the baby stuff fit in?
Do you know what you started? I just came here to party!
What about Crafts? (scrapbooking items)?
I was in tardet yesterday and the lady working in stationary told me the scrapbooking stuff gets marked down on Tuesdays. Is it possible it varries from store to store, or was she mistaken?
It might be that their registers don't download the info immediately - all markdowns are sent by corporate based on what they have in stock... so they might be getting the info on Monday (when they are supposed to be discounted) but not passing them on to the employees to do until the next day.
ok so how does this work on the clearance items? Is it weekly? One week it's 30% & then the next week goes to 50%? Or does it take 2 weeks? Or what?
It usually takes two weeks for further markdown. Grocery is on Wed. in a super target. When the item is marked and the tag is printed it is in the system and the price is down. There is no wait time.
