What ould the similac with bonus amount be considered on the clearance schedule. I found some stores have it with the baby formula/diapers and others have it by the HBA/Cleaners near the pharmacy. I was hoping to catch some at 50%... they are still 30% here. Any ideas?
thanks

It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

I just wanted to elaborate a little on this. I work at Target and I was talking with some of the girls on the pricing team (markdown team for those who aren't down with Target-talk) the other day. All markdowns are done based on the department code in the Target assigned number (DPCI) which is completely independent of UPC. So, I just wanted to amend my own post about infants getting marked down on Mondays. Infant clothing and *I believe* most of the rest of the infant department gets marked down on Monday. However, diapers, wipes, and most of the baby bath/lotion/creams get marked down on Wednesday with the HBA and Grocery items. This is, of course, if the pricing team isn't running ahead of schedule, in which case, it could be a day earlier (or Friday, in the case of the clothing). HTH!
On the red Target clearance tag what are the little numbers at the top? Does this give us any idea on when the item was marked down and when it will be marked down again?:shrug7:I am trying to figure out when I find something on clearance when the item will be marked down again. My target always seems to put out deals a little slower.![]()
The schedule is different in different stores by state. There will be times when the mark down comes from the register and not on the tag. The registers are downloaded first. Not always but at times. When I shop Target I always shop end caps first. I worked for them for 3 years. I wouldn't shop at any other dept. store.

Does this mean then if you use the self scanners/price checks in the store it might show it up at the lower price (if it is in the registers at the lower price?) even if not marked the lower price?
I guess a better question is....are the price check machines up to date with the registers?
THanks!!!

I have always found that the in store scanners are accurate with the register prices. Even if the items are not marked yet.
You are correct the scanners and the registers are down loaded at the same time. Did you also know that if you try and use the same cashier and you become chatty with them, if you have something that is on clearance and it is damaged and it doesn't say as is they can give you another 10% off the ticket price?. Also if you get something that has a ticket and not the original that the cashier should write on you receipt what the item is and then initial it for you in case you have to return it.
Just another thought that I used when I was there.
