Where to get the Target coupon policy at?

just wanted to chime in for a sec to let y'all know the funniest thing that happened at Target!!

DH was there getting a leapster and using a $10IP and a $5manu q.... (this was when they were still $22). The girl wouldn't put them through and called a manager. Manager wasn't there yet so security guard came over and started giving him her "coupon expertise" and how you can't combine them.
Manager (alleged) finally came over and told him he can't use the IP b/c it says on it that "cannot be used with any other offer" so she can't let him use the target q with it.
She can't even let him USE it on the item since it's on sale and that is like combining it w/an offer.

Poor dh was just doing what I told him...... heeeheee

I have been training my hubby well also. I had him check out separately from me the other day and I just knew it wasnt going to go well for him. We were at Target also. I was trying to buy the tide single size with the $1 off any Tide coupon. Well when I got done, I saw him over at the return counter. I thought "Oh no- what did he do?" Well he was getting us back a $1 b/c the cashier shorted him one coupon! I told him that I was training him well ....and he said he knew I would throw a fit if I knew one of my coupons was not used....he was right! I guess I will keep him.

Yes - keep your coupon loving DHs - mine actually sabotages my trips I swear - here I sit on a Friday night (too tired to go out) but yet tomorrow, he has 'stuff' to do and I can't take the kids, he acts like it's abuse - AND - his parents are coming early afternoon - can't leave then....UGH - I just wanted to try the Meijer koolaid gig once or twice or 30 times;)

OH, I just printed the target policy - thanks - I couldn't use any the other day - not the gerber, skittles or the gm cereal - she said it had to be what was pictured - I even politely pointed out that the J&J that adjusted down wasn't what was pictured - she responded with something totally irrelevant.....inconsistent as I had bought skittles the week before - gotta love it - NOT!

I love how the cashiers change the rules all the time. I carry the coupon policy with me whenever I go. Thank goodness I do because yesterday I had trouble and the cashier (who is in charge of Customer Service also) trying to tell me that after your first transaction with a Target Q you cannot use another Target Q for a same item in the second transaction. I said then why does Target allow you to print more than one of the same Q if this is the case. I called Guest Relations from my cell phone right there and they informed me that you can use multiple Target Q's for the same items but you must do seperate transactions. I understood that and that is what I was going to do but the cashier tried to tell me that since the numbers below the bar code were the same that I would show that I had used that coupon before in the first transaction and the register wouldn't take that type of Q again in the second transaction. She must have pulled that one from out of the air. She was very rude to me after Guest Relations called her. She proceeded to check me out in seperate transactions while the hole time treating me as if I was doing something illegal. I ended up walking out of the store after I finished my fourth transaction and left the other two on the conveyor belt. I was so humiliated.
