You need 10 items total, so the only way would be to return and rebuy or do another deal. There is so much Kellogg's stuff on sale recently, I've gotten enough stuff to do the rebate 3 or 4 times over.
I really screwed up. I went to target today and bought 5 poptarts with q's and cereal and 2 kellogs cereal straws. I just noticed that the straws were not on the list for the rebate. Is there anyway I could fix this??

I seem to recall reading here somewhere that someone called and asked if everything really had to be on one receipt. In fact I think 2 different people called and asked and they were told that it could be on more than one receipt. So, if you really didn't want the hassle of returning and rebuying I would suggest that you call Kellogg's and get confirmation that it can be on 2 receipts. Assuming it is OK write down the name of the customer service rep and the date and time you called to ask. Then go to the store and buy 5 more items. Send in the rebate with the 2 receipts and a note indicating that you called and was told it could be on 2 receipts. (You probably don't have to include the note but make sure you get this info anyway so that if your rebate is rejected you will have grounds to stand on when you call to complain.)
FYI - I do remember this same rebate from last year (Fall 2008) and I actually did it in 2 transactions and I did get my rebate.
thanks for the info. I decided to call to ck and he said put me on hold for a few minutes and then came back and said "yes, that should work". I am gonna send it in and if I get it great, if not, then its not like the food is gonna go to waste. Thanks!!
