I am SO sorry. That is probably one of the most ridiculous couponing stories ever!!!!

I agree with what everyone else has said! Having a pic on the coupon determine what you can get makes NO sense.
I have a recent TARGET coupon book....it seems those cs folks would have trouble with their company's own coupons.

I have had that EXACT experience and the only time it happens, between either the managers and or other employees is when there is this one peculiar manager working...I have contacted them a couple times about it and got a generic here are our policies email....I carry that with me now, just in case;)

As soon as I saw both the new coupon book that came to my house and the Target coupons that were recently in my Sunday paper, I knew there was going to be a problem. On all their coupons they show the largest size possible, and I think it's because casual couponers then think they have to buy the biggest one/the one pictured to get the savings. I personally think that's why Target does not specify a size on most of their coupons. They are hoping people will just look at the photo and think that's the only size that the coupon is good for.

I'm sorry this happened to you. My Targets are very hit or miss for couponing. Some cashiers are great and others are just a clueless or rude nightmare. :shrug7: I've found myself going there less and less.

Re: the coupon movie- I had this brilliant idea for a new show (on TLC or Bravo maybe) called "Coupon Makeover" where the host goes into a grocery store, finds a shopper with a full cart, and tries to save the shopper as much money as possible. The host could have a special van with a coupon database and every insert and coupon imaginable to get the deals.
    Hey, I'd watch it!
OOOOOOO...I think you need to pitch that girl! That is an awesome idea!

I called Customer Relations over the horrible experience I had with 2 assistant managers over using the A1 and the $2 off meat coupons. I'm telling my story regarding what happened - she never responds and I actually have to ask if she's still there - then she says its up to the store if they want to accept the coupons or not. I tell her that I feel like I just wasted my time calling because she seems to not care what I'm trying to convey about the way I was treated. She again responds, it's up to the store. I finally just hung up because it was obvious that I was not getting anywhere.
