Target ~ Clearance: Target: Baby Clearance?

I will have to check this out with my Mom, we get stuff to send to my niece. I think between my mom and I we totally deck her out for the year.

I learned early with my first daughter (she was due in early January 2005) that I would buy a year in advance with clearance products. For instance, the december before she came, I bought 18 month clothes for the following winter (I always went a size bigger than her age would be at that time the following year). I've followed this practice, though I no longer get a size bigger- she's maintaining her size for the past nearly 2 years... I'll do the same for the baby that's on the way. It's the cheapest way I know to supply great, new clothes for my children without coming out of pocket by too much. It's ridiculous that I can get a brand new pair of little girls size 5 or 6 jeans for $10 when I can get a pair of clearanced jeans for ME at $10... Ridiculous! I stocked up when my daughter's $10 jeans at Target (Circo brand name) went on clearance at 75%. $2.50 each is a price I'm willing to pay for little girls jeans!! Good Luck with the bun in the oven!

Oh, thank you - I need to keep my eye out... I have never found anything good at Target for baby clearance. I really need a stroller (the forward facing ones) and a car seat once she grows out of the infant carrier. I also need more fitted crib sheets and some summer outfits.

We got a friend a 200 carseat last year for 50. This year I need gear for my sis, so I plan to go nuts!! LOL.

Mine had a few nice things at 15% off and they were gone almost instantly. I haven't seen anything else, except diapers and some onsies marked down. So many people are looking for deals now that it is hard to get sometimes!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I think at least part of their baby clearance has ALREADY STARTED (in certain areas of the country). Lots of things ring up cheaper than marked. I got my info off SD.

I went to my Target (Gaines Twp, MI) yesterday & bought a Delta St. Martin changing table, reg. $119.99 for only $29.xx! This WAS actually marked at the correct clearance price. They only had one, so I bought it. They had the display models of other items that were reportedly VERY cheap, but none in stock. A worker checked the backroom on 5 items, and nada.
Those were:
EvenFlo Aura Sterling Heights carseat & stroller combo, $42.xx
Graco Lauren 4-in-1 crib $4x.xx
Graco Kendal 4-drawer dresser
Graco Kendal changing table
Graco Kendal crib

I forget how much the Graco Kendal items were ... all I remember is that I took up the little card with all three UPCs to the scanner, and they were scanning really cheap ... of course, the displays are still up but not a single one available. =( Bummer.

If anyone finds a great deal on a highchair, PLMK! I'm in the market, and if I don't find one soon I'm just going to BRU & using a 15% off coupon.

Graco themselves must be clearancing out the Kendal and Lauren line... I tried to buy both of those 2 cribs from Wal-Mart's website, but they are now out of stock, same for the Kendal dresser, I think... So upset! And yes, some of the baby clearance items we saw marked down were totally sold out already... Bummer! So, we'll just keep trying... I can always use cheap summer clothes for next summer!

I was forced to buy my Bumper pad and Comforter for Baby 2 at 15% b/c they only had 1 of each left and they were out of stock online at the time. Hoping to go today and get receiving blankets at 30% or more. Also in the market for a portable booster seat for DS to eat at the table and a space saver highchair.

Oh, there were also a LOT of boxed pampers for 15% last week.
