Target: Cashier would not let me combine coupons today

I guess it is my turn for the crummy Target experience.
I went to Target today and got a whole bunch of stuff. I got some kool-aid canisters and presented the cashier with the target printable and the kraft printable for this. Both were for $1 off 2. I was told I could only use one coupon on the kool-aids. I said I have always combined target and manu and asked is there a policy change. She said no but this coupons are both the same.
I went to the customer service desk and was told that target does accept target and manu q on an item but they cant be similiar coupons and that they have to be different amounts?????
She said if the manu q for the koolaid was for 50 cents off etc, I could have used it.
I dont understand, I just used a whole bunch of kraft coupons and target coupons a few days ago along with my mother and I had no problems. I used the same koolaid coupons as well as the ritz and kraft natural cheese,but today was told by 2 different employees that my coupons should not have been accepted before.
Am I misunderstanding something or should i contact cooperate?

I would start by calling the store manger and ask them. If you still get the same story then contact corporate

The other day that happened to me. I had the ip for ritz and the target q and I also had ip for 100cal. snacks and the targert q and it worked for the 100 cal snacks but then when she said oh, i cant do both the ritz(I didnt want to argue and say u just did 2 q's for the 100 cal)- I just said ok and the next day I went to customer service and said that one of my coupons didnt scan and she gave me the 1.00 back. I would try that. Just go to customer serv. and simply say, I was going over my recipet and noticed that the 1.00 off q(or whatever amt it was) didnt show up on my reciept.

I went to Target the other day and tried to purchase the Quaker Bites by the register with the Target Q and because it beeped the cashier looked at the coupon and said the coupon is for the Quaker Harvest product because that is the picture. I said that the coupon did not specify so it should be no problem, he refused so I went to CS and she said the same thing! I had my 14 month old and did not want to argue, but really?! come on people...I have used the coupons like 3 other times at that same store...arggg...

My ritz Qs had very different weight restrictions so I didn't even try it. Maybe that was why.

Ok I called Target Corp

Apparently I needed to have 4 koolaids to use the 2 coupons. it is a quantity issue.Only one coupon per quantity can be used or else they dont get reimbursed.
I cant understand this at all. It does not make sense to me.
Why does this not make sense to me lol? Does anyone understand this? lol
