Target Toys: Leapster 2 w/ SW Math Game Target Exclusive

This was found on 5/12/2009 on an end cap in the toy department in NorCal.

Leapster 2 with Star Wars Clone Wars Math game. This comes packaged together in a box. Retails @ 79.99 on clearance for 39.99. The game alone was sale priced @ 19.99. YMMV

Would make a great gift if it gets the 75% off...boy, am I cheap

I found this one also yesterday. It is a good price but it was not marked 75% off. They had it listed as clearance but, marked down only 30% off the original price. Too bad I couldn't have found this one before the $10 iq expired on 4/30. That would have sweetened the pot even more.

I have been educated on saving thanks to HCW and now won't allow myself to pay full price for anything My only problem is I hate missing out on a deal and will probably check every week until it is sold out or marked down to a price a am willing to pay.

I've been watching them at my target since this original post. They are sitting at $55.98. I need 2 for twins b-day in July. There have been 4 on the shelf since they were marked from $79 to $55. I am about to cave and pay the $55.

This morning, I decided to check one more time to see if they were marked down more. I walked in to Target and noticed lots of "workers" in the toy aisles..

I quickly headed over and they were marked down to $39!! I got 2. I figured my luck was bound to run out if I waited any longer. Lots of games were marked down to $19.99. Not a big savings, but leapster.com does have $4 coupons right now.

So - maybe I could have gotten them even cheaper by waiting longer, but its a good deal for me, and my boys will be thrilled they don't have to play with their sisters pink one anymore :)

If you have saved your receipt on the 2 leapsters take it back to customer service with your 2-$4 leapster coupons. Tell them you forgot your coupons and they will refund you the coupons amount! I've done this before with no problems

I believe the $4 coupon in question is only for the games, not the systems, so this wouldn't work.
