Default OMG, Worst Target Experience Ever

I had to fight for every single coupon, not only with my cashier, but then the head cashier and then finally a manager came over and let me use them.

    I got
2 buddies bars and used a $2/2 Buddies
Johnson's night time wash and lotion and used $3/wyb both
2 trial size purell and used $2/2

    Everything beeped.

I also had (4) $1/1 Johnsons and (1) $1/1 Fruitsnacks of Target coupons.

The only coupon that scanned was the Target Johnson's coupons, although they tried to tell me I couldn't use them all because I also had manu coupons.

I was also told by the head cashier that even though the coupon doesn't specify a size that they coupon might still specify a size and that Target won't get reimbursed if I don't buy the right size. I asked how I'm supposed to know what size to buy if it doesn't specify and she didn't know, but just that if it doesn't scan it must be the wrong size. WTF?

I suppose I'm lucky because this is my first horrible experience, but damn.

Not to mention that the head cashier and manager stood 2 feet away and whispered about me while I finished checking out.

Sorry to hear about your trip. I posted about my crappy Target trip today too with coupon problems. I was told to hand them over before they even scanned the items in case they beeped. Then they could make sure I had the exact item. Sounds like in your case, everything beeped anyway. I don't understand their registers or cashiers. They sure do not have any common sense. I emailed corporate and told them I shopped there because I don't like going to Walmart, but after the way I was treated today, I felt like I was at Walmart. Or I can just drive 35 miles out of my way to the Target that actually has employees that know the coupon policy, where I don't get told of 5 different policies by 5 different people. Tough choice.

Sorry, I know that is a bummer. My T q's never scan not matter what. They usually will push them through.

It makes me scream when cashiers/manager make up rules! AHHHH. I don't know how many times i've been told "i don't think you can get the smaller size with this coupon." "But it says any, meaning any." "I don't know, i'm pretty sure they want you to get bigger boxes." "Wouldn't they have written that?" "I don't know." AHHHHHHHHH. And how is the manufacturer supposed to know what size the coupon was used for????

The woman in front of me used a SAVE NOW peelie right off her product and they argued with her as well.

They also tried telling me that even if the coupon says Any Product, it has to be exactly the same as what's in the picture

The woman in front of me yesterday used a save now peelie too off of a package of underwear. I'm not kidding when I tell you the guy read EVERY word on the coupon & said he had to because "sometimes people try to use underwear coupons to buy t-shirts." Amazing!
