The Vaseline is a good deal with the 1.50/1 q's I think I have. The Morningstar is a great buy too- cheaper than WM.

Cheese looks to be a good deal for me. $1.25 if you have the .75/1 blinkie.

Anyone ever tried the bounty basic? I am looking for a paper towel deal and have been holding out. Im paying about 85 cents for a regular roll/1.14 jumbo roll for the members mark paper towels. Im looking for good ones that don't fall apart while wet.

Bounty Basic are only one ply. They'll fall apart when wet. I only buy them when I can get them free, and then only use them for small clean ups and light cleaning.

I was just reading that Viva paper towel single rolls are $1.00 at Wal-Mart, and there's atleast one $.50/1 printable out there, if not a few links- I've seen it a few different times. I do not know of the quality of the Viva brand though... Anyone out there familiar with Viva paper towels?

Are you serious? Viva is like the Rolls Royce of paper towels. LOL. I don't use them that often, only because they're too expensive for me in my area. Here, they cost about $2.50 to $3 per single roll package, regular price, so even with the occasional .75 coupon that comes my way from the Sunday inserts, they're still pricey. If you can get them for .50 at Walmart, that is a very good price for what might arguably be the best-rated paper towel.

What is with the old-school GM cereal boxes?? They look like the 70's version!

I would say the Bounty Basic are as good as a really cheap store brand. Even the Walgreens ones are better than these. My buy price for these is .50 per roll (no I've never gotten free paper towels) and we use them for spills, and in place of napkins, not for cleaning.

5.69 * 2 = $11.38
- $2.25/2 Target Q (2/8 insert)
- .25 Bounty (2/8 P&G insert)
- .25 Bounty (2/8 P&G insert)

= $8.63 OOP for 16 rolls, or about .54 a piece.
