I would also keep an eye out for black friday sales.
If its for you and not a gift, you could also try "Play it again Sports" or a chain similar to this.
They buy and sell used equipment, but only in great condition.

I have never seen 75% but I have seen 35-50% off after Christmas - this close to the holidays it is unlikely. Amazon had a single type of Mongoose dirt bike on sale for 50% off last week - you might want to check their site. It qualified for free shipping.

Has anyone checked the toys today? I got an e-mail from target for online saying toys, furniture and christmas was all 75% off online. Wondering if the toys are at 75% off.

I found several 2 packs of holiday themed Disney "Cars" cars located in the toy aisle for 75% off. On the bottom right hand side of the package it says "Holiday Edition" and it has a small string of lights along the bottom of the package. You can hardly tell it's Christmasy. My son is very into cars right now so it's a steal at 1.24/pack. Also in the toy car aisle I found a few packages of Dora/Diego cars that were in little paper boxes. Dora is in a Santa suit on the top right hand corner of the package. 75% off was 99 cents.

I know it isn't quite time yet, but I am super excited about trying to catch the toys when they go 75% off. I caught the one earlier this year and was able to stock up on tons of Christmas and birthday toys for all ages that we buy for. I walked in right as they were marking down and by the time I left it was chaos in the toy department.

I did notice that there were several things at 30% off and a few at 50% off when I was in there a couple of days ago.
