I used to work for a small pizza place. We would toss any leftover personal pizzas after so long, too. But, usually, IF we happened to have anything leftover, we employees would take them home and eat them. Never made any of us sick! As long as the food was properly handled after removing them from the warmer, they shouldn't make anyone sick. Good grief!

We didn't get to keep ANY of the tossed pizza's.
There were 2 security cameras in the tiny Pizza Hut so even if we tried, we'd get caught. The only thing we got to "keep" were samples of the newest pizza. [which was Buffalo Chicken & Italian Sausage, yummm]

We were right across the street from a shelter home too.
I understand why they thought it was a bad idea, but it also seemed a little cold hearted, because some of the people would come in and eat.

I felt bad but had to abide by company policy :/

Target does donate stuff, but they also sell a lot of stuff to Big Lots. My DH works at the distribution center and they have Big Lots pick up stuff all the time. I also learned to watch for recalled products when shopping at Big Lots, because apparently they buy a lot of that. Though now I think it's illegal for them to sell it.

Febreeze candles would be great w the 2.00 Q's. Will be going out there tomarrow as it's -20 here today Brrrrr.

OT: Just an FYI- this week at CVS, if you get the Febreze candles that are scented as Vanilla Refresh, Apple Spice & Cinnamon or Evergreen something-rather, they are $0.79 or FREE after $2/1 (insert) or $1/1 (Home mailer) Mfg. Q's. I've already cleaned out 3 of my local stores- these are great smelling candles and they seem to last forever!!

I don't know the specific dates or percentages, but I do remember big baby items like strollers, car seats, etc. going on clearance in February this year. Apparently it's when the manufacturers change their fabric patterns and such. I plan to keep an eye out for it again next year since we have another little one arriving in March!

All of the strollers at my Target were on sale last week and I got a Maclaren Volo stroller for $20.98!! It didn't ring up right at first, so I don't know if it was misticketed or what. They gave it to me for $20.98, so I assume it was just wrong in the system. I've been looking to downsize from the travel system stroller and this made my day!!

I got two Febreeze apple and cinnamon candles for $2.48 and two Glade air fresheners (apple and cinnamon again) reduced to $1.08 and I used a BOGO voucher so they were only .54c

My Target has their girls Christmas dresses 75% off right now. They are on sale for $4.98. They had a nice selection and they were all very fancy gorgeous dresses.
