Please look more closely. I just went to the Target site and printed directly from there, they all have the verbiage.."Limit one offer per transaction."

I just looked "more closely" at mine - they say nothing. Nowhere does it say anything about limits.

Oh I was unaware some of the target coupons had these restrictions, I will keep a close eye

-Edit...I see now it where it says that. I don't mind - I'll have 100 transactions if it saves me some $$$$$

Here is exactly what the coupons, that I printed today, say:

"Offer valid for in-store purchase only. Void if altered, transferred, scanned, purchased, sold or prohibited by law. Limit one offer per transaction. No cash value."

I do want to play by the rules, but I am confused, and I need clarification.

I thought that each item is a transaction? Almost every manufacturer coupon I have says "Limit one per transaction" and each item is a transaction. Meaning if I have 4 jars of spaghetti sauce and 4 items, I can get them all on one order and also use all 4 coupons.

Are you talking about not being able to combine a target coupon and a manufacturer coupon on an item, or only using one coupon per order? Please clarify. Thank you!

I could not use (2) Target $1 Goodlife cat food coupons to buy (2) bags of cat food in a single transaction.
OK this clears up a lot for me. Question: Could I get the cat food and toiletry and use Target coupons on both? Or are you saying that only one Target coupon can be used in an entire order? I know from years of experience couponing that each item is a transaction. You are talking about an order, not a transaction. Other coupons usually say "Limit 1 coupon per transaction," meaning for each can of cat food I can use 1 mfg coupon, and I could buy 10 cans with 10 coupons on one order. That 1 order would have 10 transactions. Your verbiage is very confusing.

You can use 20 Target coupons in one order if you like, as long as they're not the same(or they don't have the "one per transaction" wording on it). Each item is a purchase, not a transaction. A transaction is the order, each item in the order is a purchase. So the 10 cans of cat food paid for in the same order would be 10 purchases and 1 transaction.

Default Re: Verbiage on Target printables - please don't post about using more than one per transaction

OK, this is just leaving me a little confused because it seems my Target store is taking the one per transaction verbiage literally- as in only one Target coupon per your whole transaction. For example, I was buying Bounty towels and Charmin TP and tried to use 1 Target coupon for the Bounty and one Target cp for the Charmin. (Along with the MQ, which went through just fine.) However, my cashier told me that he could only use 1 Target coupon for the whol order and that he had just gotten in trouble for using more than one. (I thought that was ridiculous because then what the heck is the point of the mailers then?) I had to choose which Target coupon I wanted to use. I'm hoping he was just confused.
I probably should have gone to CS to complain but I was not having a good day and just went with it.
