Default Re: Verbiage change on Target printables - please don't post about using more than one per transaction

You can use 1 Target coupon for Juicy juice, one Target for Chex, one Target for whatever. You can use a MF with each Target coupon. You can use as many MF coupons as you have items for. But if you buy 4 Juicy Juice, you can only use 1 Target coupon, you can't use 2 Target ones. You can still use 4 MF (or 2 if they're $1/2), but only one Target coupon per transaction.

So if you have multiple Target coupons for the same items, you have to have separate transactions. Does that help?

One Target coupon of each type (Chex, Juice, Deli Meat, etc.) per order. Nothing else has changed besides this.

I guess I'm confused. My Target allows me to use one coupon per item but doesn't restrict me on how many total. Tonight, I used 4 $1 off coupons for Goldfish when buying 4 bags of goldfish. The only restriction she mentioned was 10 coupons in a transaction. Am I just blessed with a fabulous Target or am I confused on the thread? And yes, they were the Target printables I used.

That is basically why this thread was started. The coupon states one per transaction...so even though your store allowed more it is against policy so we can't discuss your transaction here. If you can...consider it a blessing.

We have to keep the discussion on HCW consistent with the terms printed on the coupons. Since it is a Target coupon, your individual store's management can choose to change the terms of the coupon without committing fraud. However, you can't discuss it here since it violates the written terms (i.e. "one per transaction") on the coupon.

Default Re: Verbiage change on Target printables - please don't post about using more than one per transaction

I haven't shopped at Target or with their coupons much lately. I also rarely read the Target section here. So I totally missed the change to one per transaction. So this is what happened tonight:

I went to buy 3 packages of steaks, 4 cans of soup, and 2 Renuzit - all with Target coupons. They told me about the change and said I was free to do separate transactions, but they insisted EACH item would have to be done completely separately. Since a guy behind me had just unloaded his huge load on the belt, I had them void it, and went to another cashier who had no one waiting.

The cashier was not happy with doing each thing separately and had problems with each coupon not wanting to scan. Another cashier came over and tried saying that if the coupon wouldn't scan, I couldn't use it. Then a supervisor came over and said since they were Target coupons, they could key it in. So we did each thing separately and the cashier took forever to do each transaction. Meanwhile, people behind me were upset at me for using the coupons and tying up the line and huffed off.

When the cashier got to the Renuzit, she said I could not use the MFG and the Target coupon. By this point, I was completely frustrated with the whole experience and told them never mind even though I knew it was not true. (The supervisor backed the cashier up on that.)

I wouldn't have minded as much if I could have done 1 meat, 1 Renuzit, and 1 soup deal at a time. To limit it to completely ONE Target coupon per transaction is a bit much.

Did they change this, so that we can't get overages now?

Not to be repetitive, but
Motts Single Serve Applesauce 4-6 pk $1.77
$1/1 target & $.55 Motts
=$.22

SO... if i have 2 Targets and 2 Motts coupons I would have to ring them up separately to get 2 packs?

Is it true you can only use a mq or a target q, but not both? I had a cashier tell me it's either one or the other. I plan to go to corporate about this because when I worked there 9 years ago that was not the case. (but it was 9 years ago)
