Default Re: Verbiage change on Target printables

Target is starting to annoy me more and more! Even when they are losing tons of business to Walmart, they don't bother to lower any of their prices, and even worse, they limit the Target coupons. I don't like Walmart, but I'll probably start going there more often, as Target will probably not be cheaper anymore.

I love Target, and will continue to shop there. I will use the printable coupons (one per transaction) because I like "nearly free" broccoli and similar deals. I think they have every right to limit the quantities purchased with their own coupons.

I think the free or almost free ham steaks put them over the edge. lol....They couldn't keep this stuff in stock at my Super Targe in Houston and the meat dept guy couldn't figure out why. He asked me if there was some type of q and I tried to be vague about it. He said he was going to have to tell his district manager about this. I guess the retail management are slowly getting to know about Hotcouponworld and figuring out how we get all of our deals and the loopholes.

Oh, well, more work and transactions for cashiers and shoppers.

I don't agree with the term loopholes. Using that term makes it seem like we are finding a problem with the system and taking advantage of it. I don't feel at all that using Target coupons on an item specified is a loophole. The ham coupon did not specify a size. It was even programmed to work on the ham steaks.

That being said, I do agree that they have every right to limit the quantities on their coupons. I just don't agree with it. Hehe.

I hate shopping at Target and rarely go. Every time I go I deal with nasty managers and cashiers, so I refuse to shop there except for free joint juice (they are the only place that sells it), and possibly other good deals that I find. You'd think that they want our business. When I use to shop there, I always bought extra things besides what I just had coupons for. But with them making it harder and harder on everyone, I am less likely to go. I don't even get extra items when I go in there anymore because they are so rude. I wish they would get a clue and decide that customers don't like companies that are rude and make it even harder to shop at. Coupon usage is legitimate, and yet we are treated like thieves. One reason why Kroger, Publix and sometimes Walmart get my business over Target.

Target - If you are reading this, please stop allowing your employees to mistreat people. You have really gotten a bad reputation with many many people because of the way you have treated customers.

Okay, sorry for the rant...

Yes they have a right to change it, but I have a right to not like it. It just seems like they enjoy making it more difficult for us. :hectic1:

The other day we were shooting a news story there on after christmas sales. I've been to this particular one many times doing news stories on how great Target's sales are. The news crew was told they were allowed to come in, as long as they didn't talk about coupons.

Seems they don't like all the coupon talk.

I would have rather they changed to limit to something like 3 per transaction or per day. That would make it worth my while to make a trip there. I think people were abusing the coupons when they had no limit. I was not able to get ham steaks at all at my Target. Someone posted on another board that she was told by her Target's meat manager that people were ordering cases of ham steaks because of the coupons.
