Can somebody tell me what wine tags are and how you get them. I am in Oklahoma and not even sure we would have them. I have never had any type of coupon off of meat. Please let me know.

Re: Target printables x09/13/08

I used 6 of the 2 dollar meat coupons today without problems. The meat is good, sirloin, strip steak..etc and I was able to get packages from 4-6 dollars each minus the 2 dollar Q's. The prices range from 4.99 per pound to 6 dollars per pound.....grilled on bbq tonight...pretty good quality!!

It came in the 08-03 inserts. There's more info on it in the first post of this thread: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...-8-5-08-a.html

Winetags are coupons people find hanging off bottles of alcohol (usually wine). Alcohol laws vary drastically from state to state and so do the winetags. Some tags require a wine purchase, some don't. Some tags are instant coupons, some are mail-in offers. If your store doesn't have them hanging on the wine bottles, I'd recommend trading for them in the Trading forums.

[Side note: When talking about the database, "winetags" are any instant coupon put out by an alcohol company, regardless of whether they are hangtags, booklets, etc. Mail-in offers are filed under "MIR".]

Oklahoma laws prohibit liquor sales in grocery stores (Homeland, IGA) and chain stores (Target, Wal-Mart). So those deals won't work for us Okies (sigh). Maybe some day....

Are you sure these deals don't work in Oklahoma? I've not done any, but I've read some of the wording, and some specifically say they are GOOD in Oklahoma.

The deals would probably work for us in Oklahoma. The problem is the liquor or wine companies put the tags on their products that are only sold in the grocery or mas market stores. It is illegal to sell liquor or wine at grocery or mass market stores in Oklahoma. It can only be purchased at liquor stores. This is also why we don't have the great couponing grocery chains here.
