yet again appalled with my target

i went in to pick up a few items. some of which were the trial size All 3x small and mighty detergeants which i have a ton of coupons to make these free. they always have to be K1ed. no biggy. i can wait. well while my cashier was checking me out up walks a very snotty front end manager who grabs up my coupons and says "this has been discussed before and these coupons are NOT good on trial size , see it refuses them every time" i politely pointed out that thier very own coupons make the register beep and if no coupons causing the register to beep were accepted there would be pretty much NO coupons used at target now. she replies "that doesnt matter, these beep and we won't take them" again i calmly respond with "i have discussed this with Rich your store manager and with guest relations, you do indeed take these coupons for this item. it does not say NO TRAIL SIZE therefore i can use these for these bottles." she says "no you cant" i say " i have no problem waiting for your store manager. its ok. i have time" and smiley sweetly. so she went and got the current manager in charge it was CHRIS!! my favorite manager. she looks up at me and says "oh, its YOU. yes so and so she does this all the time and yes we take these for these and explained it to her CSM" but she also added "i know it looks like she is stealing with coupons but she isnt, its legit"

i love that Chris handled things and what not. but the lack of communication of the management team at my target is appalling. i was told they were ALL being retrained on coupon handling. apparently I was lied to on that one. i am getting tired of these kinds of issues at my target when i thought they were resolved.

I actually hesitate using coupons when I shop at Target strictly for the clearance.

I heard that bunk twice about the P&G and trial size. I am sure I will encounter it again. If the coupon says any size, it means any size.

I, too, am fed up with their new attitude towards coupons. They have one issue with their own coupon and every one with coupons is committing a crime. Every coupon scanned (since that spurious coupon was discovered) beeps. Inserts, peelies, hang tags, and tear pads.

In the perspective of everything, my family is healthy, we are living well, and enjoy life. This is just the small stuff not worth sweating over. We all know how terrible Target is; we just need to get over it and move on.

Exactly, move on to a different store and quit giving Target your business. Unless you have absolutely no other stores with any deals, it is not worth the stress to go to Target. Maybe I will write them a goodbye letter:

"sorry, Target, it's not me, it's you..."
