The point of this thread is to collect a history of when Target marked down various items. These data may help us predict the date mark downs will occur in future years.

I don't know if this will help or not, but my Target in Rossford Ohio had:

Christmas 90% from January 5th-January 8th
Valentine 90% beginning on February 20th (not sure how long it lasted)

I am not sure if this was the first day of the January clearance, but my brag pictures were from Thursday January 10th, 2008 for the 75% off Christmas toys event.

I guess I should mention I work for them, so as soon as I see the seasonal items start being clearenced out, I will hollar!

I don't know the specific dates or percentages, but I do remember big baby items like strollers, car seats, etc. going on clearance in February this year. Apparently it's when the manufacturers change their fabric patterns and such. I plan to keep an eye out for it again next year since we have another little one arriving in March!
