target web coupons

not sure if everyone's target is the same, but i went into the target by westfield mall in brandon, fl. and there are signs posted on the registers that they are no longer excepting the target web coupons, due to fraud. just letting you know i have not checked the other targets out yet near my home.:frown: i have used these on occasions especially the one for pampers and wipes $5.00 off and then you get a $5.00 gift card. Is anyone else experienced this yet!

There is a lot of discussion about this on the Target forum.
Did the sign say they were accepting ANY web coupons or did it say that they would no longer be accepting "these" coupons with a picture of two coupons.

My store had a sign up that said "these" coupons and it had the $5/$25 coupon. Those were fraudulently being used.

My store is still accepting the other printables. Also, it has been reported that corporate said stores should be accepting the printables except the $5/$25 coupon.

I went to Target yesterday after not being there for about a month, and my store had that sign. The checker tried to tell me that I could not use any printables. I showed her that it said that I could not use the $5/25 coupon, and she realized that was true and took my other coupons. I think some of them are just misinformed.

Well, today the wipes and diapers $5 off and $5 gift card coupons expire so I went to Target and was lucky enough to find that they had jumbo pack diapers on clearance so I had 3 of each and when I went to check out they wouldn't take both coupons. I was told it was their policy to only take one store coupon per item...needless to say I was furious I told them that it isn't posted anywhere and it doesn't say that on the coupon. The basically dismessed me...it was still a good deal but the thought that I could have saved another $15 just grates on my nerves badly!

They are correct, you can use either the $5 diapers&wipes, OR the $5 GC wyb diapers&wipes, NOT both.

i actually got to use both of the coupons at the lakeland,fl store. i asked the cashier was it ok to use both, he then ask the manager and they said yes. so, i got to use both of them. i then, used the free $5 gc on the $5/20 on school supplies. i was unaware at the time i used them that it wasn't suppose to be. i went to the target forum today 7-31-08 and they had said you can only use one or the other. i apologize, but i did ask the cashier the first time i did use them. i am still in training and new about all this. but, i am learning so much from this website.
