I think my Target is mad at me!!

Toady I got:
4 Bags Chef Michael's ($2.50 IP/$1.50 TQ)
8 Fancy Feast (4 B1G1 TQs)
2 Buddy Bars ($1.00 off any)
1 Rimmel Mascara ($2.00 Q)
8 Cheese Sticks ($1/2 auomatically adjusted to $0.80)
3 2. oz Glade Soy Candles (2 $3.00 IP/1 BIGI TQ (took $10.99 off???)
3 Trial size Tide

I had Qs for the buddy bars and after pushing 2 through the cashier (who went over every Q with fine tooth comb) decided that I could not use 2 of them because they say "baby" and she felt Buddy Bars weren't for a "baby". I smiled and said "Okay" and happily took back my Qs and her remove 2 bars from my transaction. She also told me I could not use the $1 off ANY tide on the trial size because it wasn't pictured on the Q. I said "Okay" and happily took back my Qs. She had to consult with CS manager several times with questions, etc. I stood there the entire time smiling. So, I left with getting several Qs back AND still got the items for free!

Total $53.78
Total OOP: $0.91 cents!!!
Saved: $52.87!!

Cashier was flustered and didn't know what to say besides "You saved $52.87?!" She was, to say the least, in total shock!

My best Target run EVER! I never seem to be able to walk out Target spending less than $20.00 even though my strategic plan OOP was much lower. :shrug7:

great job couponcrazychick! where did you get the b1g1 TQ? Is it an insert coupon, this would make for some cheap yummy candles! I just LOVE the soy candles! (everyone's getting them for christmas!

The Target Q must have been from one of their mailings. I found it laying on a shelf with the candles about a month or so back. It had an expiration date of 12/2009 (Not sure what day)! I guess someone didn't know that it was an awesome Q combined with MQs!!!!

Sorry, I wish I had more information about where the Q came from.:sad:

Last nights trip

8 fusion razors, 5 ladies quattros, 8 tide stain release, 8 soy glade candles.

Total was $39 and got back $20 in GCs.

Had a pretty great trip today. We were in desperate need of bottled water, grapes and granola bars for dd#1's band, so my OOP wasn't free but we did pretty good.

Here's what I got:
3 packages grapes - $1.99 each
9 3pks Crystal Light - clearance priced $.68 each
3 24pk Zephyrhills bottled water - $3.99 each
4 boxes Quaker chocolate chip chewy granola bars - $1.00 each (all other flavors were $2.34 each ???)
18 travel size Secret deodorant - clearance priced $.67 each
5 J&J Buddies bars - $.97 each
Coupons:
- (3) $2/2 any Crystal Light
- (3) $1 off water WYB any 2 Crystal Light
- (2) $1/2 Quaker chewy granola bars
- (6) $2/1 any size Secret deodorant
- (5) $1/1 J&J baby items

Total before coupons: $44.97
Total OOP: $16.97

Every single coupon I had beeped. The cashier was a little hesitant, but VERY polite. The (I'm guessing) team leader came over, looked at the coupons to verify and sat there and hit the K1 button after every coupon she scanned. They were both very nice and the lady behind me in line was in awe that the total kept going down. And this wasn't even a really low OOP trip!

Where do you find the J&J buddies bars? What are these exactly? I have a lot of the $1/1 J&J so I would like to use them.

They are a soap bar that is covered with a mesh-like fabric so that it's easier for kids to grasp. My kids love them. Like Madayena said, they are located in the baby section, by the full size lotions, etc.
