Just came from Target and they have the Ziploc sandwich bags 25ct clearanced for .70. I bought five. I used two .75 MQ, one .40 MQ and 1.00 off two MQ. Not bad .60 for 125 bags.

You're best off not arguing it. Arguing for overage risks putting you on the management's bad side and getting your coupons denied altogether. It's a fight sometimes just to get the store to accept a $1 coupon on a $0.99 item, much less to give you overage. Some stores give overage and some don't. Neither the manufacturer nor corporate will back you in such an argument. It's cool when we get overage, but it can't be expected.

The Target policy says, "We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in this case, we're able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item." Some interpret this to mean all coupons greater than the purchase price should be adjusted down (i.e. no overage at all). Some take this to mean that you can't have a negative total transaction and get cash back. (i.e. overage OK as long as Target isn't giving you money back at the end of the transaction).

stopped at target. and they had got more oil refills on a truck that morning! woohooo. i didnt wipe them out. but i did go to town! love these! i paid about $5 OOp on all this but if i had not needed the baseball card 9 pocket holders i would have had a $5 gift card left over still. i started with a $5 gift card from the cereal deal. i used 4 x free refill when you buy 2 coupons, 4 x $2 off 2 oil refill blinkie coupons, 2 x $3 off glade wisps coupons, 1.50 off each of the chex bars. i did 5 seperater transactions with one of the friendliest best cashiers i have ever had! i evenwent and filled out a compliment card on her. she was GREAT!
