I guess I don't understand. I assumed you could use both together as the gift card is free when you buy the diapers and wipes, it isn't applied toward them. I thought that you could use a "Get xx free when you buy" even when you used a coupon with the original item. Is it not right?

Yes, with manufacturer's coupons, you can often use something like $1 coupon on item A then use a "buy A, get B free" coupon on B. It is not a written manufacturer rule, however. If you ask the manufacturer's, they'll probably just tell you it's up to the store to determine coupon acceptance policy. This usage is an interpretation of the coupon verbiage that some stores accept and some don't.

Since these are Target coupons, it's up to Target to decide proper usage.
I contacted Target a couple times (email and phone). I got the same answer each time. No, you can not combine them. Target coupons so Target rules. Here on the board we're going to abide by these responses I got from Corporate and not discuss doubling up on these coupons.

I need size 5s, which are 26 per pack-- that's 0.25 a diaper. Not a great deal at all, imo. Am I figuring something wrong? I do not need wipes at all, I've got thousands of them. So free isn't enough of a lure for me.
