Default Store Manager states target.com coupons will not be taken anymore

We have a brand new Target but yesterday the shirty cashier would not take the coupons from the website for the Horizon milk so I called the store manager the next day. He stated that they do not take the website coupons anymore because of fraud. I clarified that it was the coupons that come from THE TARGET WEBSITE and he said no they are not taking them but also waiting for word back from corporate. I asked why are they still on the website and he said he didn't know. I asked if I should ask corporate and he said yes. He said it is because of fraud. I clarified a bunch of times with him but he definitely meant the same coupons.

I filed a complaint with consumer affairs explaining that they are advertising prices/deals that they do not honor and they plan to continue to do so.

It's been 8 days and I am already off the new Target.

Your store is confused/misinformed. According to corporate, store are supposed to still accept the IPs from Target's website. They aren't supposed to accept the $5/$25 Toy coupon that was altered and used fraudulently. Many Target stores have signs stating they are not accepting "these" coupons referring to the $5/$25 coupon. Unfortunately, many store interpretted "these" to mean all IPs. But, a call to corporate should clear it up. Corporate should be able to get you store back on track.

I called CS and explained in great detail what happened and they promised to set the store straight. I was glad I questioned the manager so thoroughly because I was able to tell the CS rep that the staff sincerely believes that the store does not accept ANY IPs. Just to clarify, I was never less than really nice to any of the people I spoke to. I'm not sure if that helps or not, but probably.

I also have an incident where a cashier rejected my Horizon online coupon. The cashier only been in the store for 3 weeks and she was told by her supervisor that they could not honor any online coupon except from Target Web site. (Her supervisor confirmed that with me.) She said other Target stores may accept it but not their store. A few days later, I went to a different cashier using the same coupon and he accepted it.
