Attention: Altered or counterfeit Target store coupons

This thread is for Target store coupons that HCW believes to be counterfeit or altered. We'll bump this thread when we have new information.

How you can help:

If you know of an existing bad coupon that is not listed here, please contact one of the Target moderators via PM so they can post the information here. If you feel that a coupon is listed here in error, please contact a moderator via PM.

If you have used a bad coupon, DO NOT POST that you have done so. This applies whether you did it intentionally, did it accidentally, or had cashier/manager/CS approval.

If you see someone on HCW offering a coupon that you know or suspect to be counterfeit, please use the red triangle at the top right corner of their post to send a report to the moderators/admin.

If you find a Target printable coupon that you would like to share on the board, please use the Store Coupon Notification Form before posting so that the moderators can check its authenticity. If the coupon is hosted at bricks.com or coupons.com, you may post it without submitting it for check. If the coupon is hosted at target.com, you may not post the direct link, but you may post the directions for finding the coupon starting from target.com.

Bar code: 9856-0112-1396-2898-0225-3827-50
This WAS a valid coupon. If you used it prior to 7/2/08, you did nothing wrong. As of 7/2/08, Target is now refusing to honor this coupon because it was used as a base for the fraudulent $5/$25 coupon listed above. See Business Week.
