So - can you use the $5/2 and the $5 gift card with the purchase of two at the same time? I don't really need wipes, but if I could essentially earn $10 off it would definitely be worth it. Wanted to see everyone else's experiences!

Today while reading my email I saw mention of another website similar to HCW (I'm not sure I can mention a competitor site, so I'm not). Anyway, there was an entire thread dedicated to the current Target Pampers printables. They were saying it is ok to use the Target $5 off and the Target $5 gc with the $2/2 mfc. The explanation was that the $5 is similar to the current razor gc offer, therefore not the same as the $5 off... There were several people posting their success using all three coupons. Is this really acceptable? :shrug7: Can someone point me to the right area to figure this out?

I am also new and am not at all sure of what I am doing.... Do you have to sign up on Target's site to get the emails from them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated/

No, you can not. I called Target corporate to double check.

If you buy one package of diapers and one of wipes, you can either get $5 off your order or a $5 gift card, not both.

No, you can only use one of the Target coupons for every pair of diapers and wipes. I called Target to confirm this.

If the gift card were an in-ad offer WITHOUT a coupon then you could use the $5/2 coupon and also get the gift card. Since both offers require a coupon, you can only do one or the other.

Yes, on http:/www.target.com is a place to sign up for their "email exclusives". That is whence these particular coupons came. You can also sign up at http://www.luvs.com and http://www.pampers.com. Most of the Target LUVS/Pampers coupons I've seen in the past have come out through those two sites.

Thanks for confirming. I found the other site by accident, and they were bragging so much on how to get past the system I just knew this couldn't be honest. I LOVE HCW! I know I get the most accurate info here!!!

Use target IP coupon for $5.00 gift card

Diapers @ $9.99 wipes 160ct $5.99 = $15.98

= oop $3.98

Total oop $17.96 for 2 diapers and 2 wipes

Yes, that would work fine. I would recommend swapping your choice of Target printable on the first order, however, and just do this twice:

9.99 diapers
5.99 wipes
-2 (manufacturer coupon)
-5 (Target coupon)
= $8.98

Your total comes out $17.96 in the end either way.

The two main advantages of using the $5 off coupon rather than the $5 gift card coupon for the first transaction are
1) The $5 gift card coupon is unusual. It may throw your cashier. On the other hand, the $5 off coupon is something normal so it should go through with a minimum of hassle.
2) In some states, there is no sales tax on the portion of your total that is covered by store coupons. If your state is one of them, then in your scenario, you are paying tax on $13.98 for your first transaction and on $8.98 for the second transaction (total $22.96). If you skip the gift card, you pay tax on $8.98 for each transaction (total $17.96). It's only about $0.30-$0.40, depending on your tax rate, but it's a few more dimes in your pocket.

What is the normal everyday price on these? Is it $9.99 on diapers and $5.99 on wipes? Were they already on sale last week or has a sale not yet occurred?
