Found one on Tuesday! I'm not even expecting yet! lol I've had a hope chest for years & I have clothes & blankets & stuff like that that I've got super cheap or free! Now, it's become a hope closet! lol :)

I'm glad everyone else is finding them, but I have been to several stores in NJ and it's a bust. There aren't any around here.

digideb, I don't know what your plans are for having a baby, but you may want to check the expiration date on the car seat. They are usually about 10 years out, but the plastic degrades over time and they are not safe anymore past the expiration. Usually imprinted somewhere on the bottom of the seat.

Oh wow! I didn't realize that! Thanks. We are currently trying, have been for 2 years w/no luck. We plan to start the adoption process next June. So, hopefully w/in the next 1 - 1 1/2 years!

All 3 of the seats I bought have 2016 stamped on the bottom~That is one thing I have learned to check before I leave the store with a carseat now(after buying an exp one from TRU a few years back!)

Thanks for the reminder though~better safe than a bargain when it comes to the little ones...

I'm pretty sure they are all gone by now. I checked at every store near me the day after everyone found them and they were no where to be found. Then I asked someone else to check in another part of the country and they couldn't find any either. This is one deal that was probably picked up by whoever was in the store at the time.

I was able to get one last friday on 10/30~so they are still out there as of then...It was in the regular section and i am really thinking that there is some pricing error on this or something. The exact same seat is priced 71.99-79.99 at babiesrus.com and kohl's.com. Also this is a very new seat, made in 8/09 which makes me think it's not priced right.

found this one at a regular target in k.c. MO, it was the only one on the shelf. I just by chance checked that store, it was the only one i looked at,but i remember when the britex were on some hot clearance months back and someone posted the target inventory search, this same store had some left, but all the other stores nearby were oos. so i don't think seats get sold well there.

Graco seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture. Expiration dates range between 5 and 8 years, depending on manufacturer.
