Milk *can* be frozen.
Since we have to drive the 40 min. to get to our closest Sam's club, I will buy 6-8 gallons at a time and then bring it home, open each one, drain about 2 cups out of each gallon and then replace the lid and freeze in my deep freezer.
You just have to remember to take it out the day before you will need it and let it sit on your counter and shake it every 4 hours or so, once it starts to defrost.
Sounds like alot of work, but once you do it the first time, it's not a biggie.
I know for me, we can save sometimes up to .60 or more per gallon, so it's worth it for us.
