What deals do you miss?

There used to be so many good deals I scored on a regular basis. Some were routine sales and some were just an everyday good price with Qs. But most of them are gone and boy do I miss them.

Some of my favorites I used to get all of the time but not anymore.

Cottonell TP from Kroger for free with $.50/1 Q.
Suave deodorant from Kroger for free with $.50/1 Q.
Dawn from Kroger for free with $.50/1 Q.
Dial pumps from Kroger for $.10 -$.20 with $.40/1 or more Qs.
Softsoap pumps at Meijer for $.10 -$.20 with $.40/1 or more Qs.
Free Johnson's Bath Buddies at Meijer with $1.00/1 Qs.
Free Progresso soap at Meijer with $1.00/1 Qs.
Free Bestlife butter at Meijer with $1.00/1 and $.50/1 Qs.
Free Honey Bunches of Oats from Wal-Mart with $2.00/1 Qs.
Free BB tuna from Kroger.
Fee Dentyne Pure gum from Meijer with $1.00/1 Q.
Free Chex Mix from Meijer with $1.00/1 & $.50/1 Qs.

Kraft cheese coupons and cheap block cheese! It's been over a year since I bought a ton with those $5/5 coupons at Meijer and got each for $0.18. I haven't been able to get them below $1.00 in a long long time!

Free TP of any kind! (Was thinking of the Cottonelle the other day though)

Cheap (free or less than $0.25 each) Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta. It seems like it has been a long time, although probably only six months.

really missing the deals on -
ground beef....last yr. I was getting it $1.59 lb. or less now.....always $2.30+ a lb.
Pork butt roasts....last yr .99 lb. ....now $1.99lb. ??????
never find a deal on fresh step cat litter anymore either.

I remember 10-15 years ago I always could get Glad garbage bags free or dirt cheap after sales and coupons. Now its hard to even find a decent deal on any brand.

I also miss the $3 Revlon coupons combined with half off or more sales which scored me tons of free makeup. I don't know if it is just my area but I have only seen one Revlon coupon in the last 4 years and it was only $1.

I also miss the dial and softsoap pumps.

And most importantly, I miss Super double coupons at Meijer and Kroger. This would happen on a very regular basis 10+ years ago where $1 coupons were redeemed for $2.

Doubles are pretty rare here, so frees only happen on rare occasions. However, a couple coupons I always teamed with sales for reduced stock-up prices were Carnation Evaporated Milk and Hormel Chili.
Kept waiting for the Carnation sales this year, but only found one decent sale with a limit of four cans. Even that was much higher than previous years. Saw reduced prices posted at Walmart elsewhere, but not here. Finally had to break down and use my Qs at the last minute at another grocery store.
I don't know when we last had a sale on Hormel Chili and most stores have quit carrying the turkey variety we prefer. My last Qs expired, because the price was so high.

@cintinative: How in the world do you score a free TP? The cheapest I've ever gotten it was for $3.77 and that was EVIC / manufacture Q from Harris Teeter.

My cousin is awesome at q's. She just bought $91 for 0.41!!! 4 of them were TP (Charmin - I prefer Cottonelle too). I just can't seem to do it. I think part of the reason why I got "burned out" is because I could never get amazing deals like that.

I miss double/triples at Krogers. Always got Softsoft & Dial free. I don't shop there anymore due to the fact they stopped double/triple.
