Funstuff A lil coupon humor for ya

I wasn't feeling good today. Didn't even go to church. I asked hubby to pick up my usual 10 papers. He didn't do it. He said the last time he did that the check out woman was teasing him. Anyways, I waited and pouted around all day. At 1130pm I had had enough. I got on eBay (I know its way too high but I was proving a point here) and started ordering. When he asked what I was doing, I told him "well honey, I didn't get any papers so I am ordering all the qs from eBay".

His eyes got huge. He promptly put on his shoes, told me I was crazy and left at nearly midnight with a bag of quarters to buy papers.

    Hahahahahaa

You can still find papers that late? Every box around here is empty by noon

Wouldn't work here since I'm the thrifty frugal one - DH would figure that's a much easier way to go about it, and would wonder why not order online every week?
I'm the only one who cares about every penny. He doesn't think twice of $10 here, $20 there.

I tried something new this week and I'll let ya know how it works out in a few days. I was told some newspapers sell their customers extra packs of coupons for less than a full paper. Unfortunately, not the only paper which is delivered around here and usually contains most of the coupons mentioned on the coupon preview list. I was bemoaning this in chat and was told of somewhere to purchase 10 coupon insert sets for $1.50 each plus $5 postage via the post. That means I got 10 of the $2/1 Tide coupons for $20. I'm hoping to use the Tide coupons on the single use Tide for $0.97 at Walmart with the overage going to needed produce. I figure since both Walmarts near me have oodles of the single packs of Tide, I should be able to recoup my investment there and all the rest of the coupons are just gravy. Here's hoping I can rustle up some really good deals with some of the rest of them to make it worthwhile.
