I do like it..and yes they would double a coupon to make it free..but in Kansas they tax pre coupon...so as soon as your items have been rung up...the tax is computed...and then the coupons are taken off..so there is no way to get out of paying tax. Also tax is 8% here (or slightly more).
And they don't have the small size gain..so the 50 cent gain coupon doesn't do ya any good there.
If you can get ahold of the ajax .50 cent coupon that will get you free ajax though
I mostly shop at the Pittsburg Dillons ...but I used to go to Joplin @ least once a month to go to Target and/or the mall or Babies R us and would stop in at Dillons to maximize my shopping.
pittsburg is a 45 minute drive for me...joplin is about an hour a 15 minutes or so...but after doing a lot of gatorade donation runs this summer to help out I haven't been driving down to Joplin much.

One other thought...How far are you to springfield? That might be a better choice...even if it's slightly a longer drive...you will get the same deal as the one in Joplin that your taxed post coupon and the tax in general is better then in Kansas.
I think the Missouri tax on food is 4%???
Also I believe there are 3 different dillons there to choose from. You also have the liquor section to look for wine tags and beer rebates...nothing like that in Kansas. The one thing though...In kansas....if you have wine tags..you can use them without having to purchase the wine![]()
