question about reuseable bags

i know alot of stores are having promotions were if you use a reuseable bags you get cents of your transaction but does it have to be thats stores bag or just any reuseable bag?

Any store's bag should work just fine. I've even seen people bring in competitor's paper bags and get the cents off promo. I think the idea is to get you to use your own bags and save on the plastic. HTH

ok thanks ive been wanting to do this but wasnt sure if i needed to buy bags from every store.

Yep I think most stores let you use any old bag. I have been known to just reuse the plastic shopping bags. One of my stores will give me the discount if I buy something small that I can carry out in my hands without a bag...like if I run in for cheese or something. YMMV on that one though....

You can use any bags. My favorites are heavy plastic that don't have any particular store's name on them. Although I do have one like that from Trader Joe's. It was my first such bag. Got it almost 7 years ago and it gets a lot of use. So they are much sturdier than the fabric ones and they wash and dry a lot easier.

Yep, any bag will work. I've sewed some of my own and used those, and sometimes even bring in a backpack.
