    Default Hair color prices

Sorry if this isn't where this goes..wasn't sure...

I'm thinking of dying my hair again, but it's been a while since I did that and I wasn't couponing back then. What is a "good" price, "great" price, and a "Stock up" price on hair color?
    Thanks.

I think it all depends on which one you are willing to use. I have used Nice and Easy since I was 12 or 13 and rarely use anything else. It usually cost about $7.00 but I have seen it for cheaper and also more. For myself it is the only one that doesn't bother my scalp too much and doesn't give me a headache. Now if I can get my hands on some q's for them I might stock up but hair color just like everything else has an expiration date on it and I tend to not stock up on it because I am never sure what my next color choice is going to be.

$1.99 or less, depending on brand. I scored free John Frieda hair color, and Garnier Fructis for .99 in the past 4 months from Target.

I'm with pitbaby. I tend to only use Revlon Color silk. I've been coloring my hair for 18 years and I've used all kinds of colors and brands. Color silk comes in a color I like and it's usually about $4.00/box when it's not on sale. On Sale, with a Q, I cna get it for $1.50-$2.00/box and I need 2 boxes if my hair is shoulder length or longer (I have A LOT of hair).

When I was pregnant, I couldn't color my hair as frequently, so I only bought it as needed (twice in 9 months). Now that the cub is here, mamabear is back to coloring her hair every 6-8 weeks.
