.55 off tomatoes or avocados

Has anyone used this coupon? It came in the Sutter Home Build a Better Burger winetag booklet.

On the coupon, it says .55 off any tomatoes or avocados, instant savings.

I bought some tomatoes at Schnuck's today, and tried to use the coupon, and cashier said I couldn't use it because it is a rebate.

So across the top, it says, " Mail-in rebate certificate." There is NO lines to fill in your address, no address to send to! Then there is a barcode across the bottom!

The cashier had to get the ok from customer service, and they said I could use it, but wasn't supposed to because it's a rebate.

I used it a few times on tomatoes in different stores - its always beeps, but they take it no problem.

Its a mistake, It is a coupon - no doubt.

I have these coupons as well. Yes it is a printing mistake. They have it labeled as a MIR instead of a coupon. I have found this happens often when there are "booklet" type coupons. I have even seen the MIR's labeled as "Manf. Coupons" also.

I have used them with no major issues so far. If there is a problem I just point out it is a mistake done at printing & that one side says Rebate & the other Manf. Coupon & that it has a bar code not a form to fill out like a rebate.

I have used at Walmart- beeps but no problem. Used on avacados

Yeah, I used it on tomatoes in Walmart. It beeped for me too but the girl put it through anyway.
