HELP can someone clarify for me?

Im pretty sure i already know the answer, but im wondering, all these (IMO) STUPID coupons that are lets say, for A1 and beef. The coupons sayd Save $1 on BEEF WYB any A1 10 oz+. I know the coupon itself requires you to buy the beef, but the coupon actually attaches to the a1 on the register, right? i dont like being told what to buy !LOL There are also different ones on eggs, produce, meat , hot dogs, etc. it really throws me off because i have hot dog coupons!

Thanks for any input, like i said i already know i have to buy the items but for those that have used them.. any input?

If it says 'Save $1.00 on beef when you buy A-1 steak sauce' then yes, you have to buy the steak sauce. As far as I know though, since you are buying the steak sauce, you can use a coupon on that. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me, but that is my understanding.

If your q says "save $1 on beef WYB A1 steak sauce", the coupon goes on the beef. Then you can use a q on the A1 steak sauce. There is no wording on the beef q that says you have to pay full price for the steak sauce.

However, if your q says "save $1 on beef AND A1 steak sauce", the coupon attaches to both items, and you cannot use another one.

However some coupons will beep if you try to use one on the beef and one on the A1, what I always do is use say the coupon for the A1 first then at the end of the pile I put the $1 on beef coupon that way if it beebs I can say I got the A1 and the beef..most of the time a meat coupon like that will beep anyway tho.
