Stores in N. Fl or S. Ga that double?

I live in the Tallahassee are and I have friends who will drive to south Georgia to take advantage of certain deals they find. My question is are there any stores in the N Fl south Ga area that double coupons?

If I were you, I wouldn't drive to GA for deals on food - GA taxes food, and FL doesn't. I had to go to Valdosta last week for business and thought about buying non-perishable food while I was there, but before I left, I found out that GA does tax food. So I just ended up cruising the local grocery stores for coupons/peelies/blinkies instead. :)

I don't think anything close to the Tallahassee area up in GA will double - I haven't heard of anything, anyway.

Harris Teeter & publix double coupons up to 50 cents. I think the tax on food is 3% and on non-food items is 7%. Publix bogo items are a better deal in GA because the price of the item is half the normal price, therefore one can use 2 coupons.

Publix and Kroger double up to $.50.

I'm just above you, in Thomasville, and the only thing in here that doubles is Fred's, and only on Saturday and only up to .70. Publix here does not double and is not especially coupon friendly in comparison to other Publix stores that have more competition. There is no Harris Teeter or Kroger, just Harvey's which doesn't double, either (unless that's changed). Don't waste the drive to Thomasville if you're looking for doubles.

I'll check again. I use coupons in Harvey's sometimes, but I have never had mine double. I'm going to ask specifically. Is it on a website somewhere? I looked once and didn't find it. That would be soooooo sweet because otherwise we don't have much of anything around here.

Great! the register automatically doubles so the cashier doesn't have to do anything but scan....happy shopping!
